Annual Filing Requirements

Starting in 2020, there are new requirements to make it easier for landlords to keep up to date with annual filing requirements. No longer must each landlord fill out both a landlord registration and a fire prevention registration. Both processes and fees have been merged into one as per Ordinance 28-2019.

All landlords must follow these steps for 2020 registration:

  1. Invoice Received. You will receive an invoice from the Office of Fire Prevention. Make sure to note the invoice number and the total amount invoiced.
  2. Submit ALRA Payment. Take your invoice number, and proceed to the following link to make your annual payment online by echeck/bank transfer or credit/debit card. This payment must be submitted online starting in 2020.

  3. Complete ALRA Application. Download the fillable PDF document. Please do not print and re-scan the file. Please do download it, and fill it out electronically. The form must be submitted electronically.

  4. Submit Application. Email both your payment receipt AND completed ALRA Application.
