WAIVER OF FEES RELATED TO TENTS FOR BUSINESSES: Mayor Fahl has authorized the waiver of all fees related to the installation of tents for businesses due to COVID19 ($75.00 fee). PARKING NEWS! All metered parking is free on Thanksgiving Day, November 26, 2020 and from December 17th through December 25! ANNUAL TREE LIGHTING is scheduled for Saturday, December 12, 2020 at 4:30 p.m. at the corner of South Union and Bridge Street. A message from the Mayor concerning COVID-19 The City of Lambertville is alerting members of our community about the increasing number of Covid-19 cases throughout the state of NJ. Because of these spikes, new changes to gathering limits have been announced by Governor Murphy - limiting the number of people in your home to no more than 10 and no more than 150 people gathered outside. As we approach Thanksgiving be aware of these new gathering restrictions. When possible, maintain social distance and reduce unnecessary social interactions. Construction Updates: Tent Permit Requirements from the Construction Office As of December 1, 2020, a permit from the Construction Office will be required for any existing or new tents installed for all businesses. The UCC, Uniform Construction Code, mandates that a permit be submitted to the Construction Office for review. Prior to this date, the only department required to maintain tent permits was the Fire Prevention Office. You will need to submit Building and Fire Subcode Technical Sections along with the specifications of the tent, including manufacturer’s specifications for anchorage, wind loads, snow loads and fire resistance. If the tent will have sides or be partially or completely enclosed then an egress plan, emergency lighting and exits signs will be required along with an Electric Subcode Technical Section. All forms are available on our website at www.lambertvillenj.org under Construction Office page. Please reach out to the Construction Office at 609-397-0110, ext. 23 or via email at Obtaining Construction Permits: All forms for the Construction Office can be located here under “Applications”: https://lambertvillenj.org/departments/construction-zoning Please download the required forms, complete them and send them electronically to You must also submit the original forms to the office. You can drop them at any time in the mail slot in the front door. If the plans are too large to fit in the mail slot, the entrance by the elevator is open on Tuesday and Thursday between 9 am and 4 pm and you can drop them off there. Plan review is conducted throughout the week however, my inspectors are only in the office once a week. RECOGIDA EN CURSO / LECTURA DE VERANO La primera fase de reapertura de las bibliotecas comenzó el lunes 22 de junio y hemos visto una respuesta entusiasta.
