Legal Notice City Of Lambertville Hearing For Green Acres Application

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the City of Lambertville, County of Hunterdon will conduct a public hearing on June 24, 2021 at 7:00 pm, prevailing time.

The hearing will be held at the Phillip L. Pittore Justice Center, 25 South Union Street, Lambertville, New Jersey 08530.  The purpose of the hearing will be to obtain public comment and input regarding the City of Lambertville’s application to the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection – Green Acres Program for the following:

Financial assistance in the form of a loan or grant for the acquisition, development, and stewardship of lands for outdoor recreation and conservation purposes, specifically, as related to the former Closson Property or a portion thereof, Block 1002, Lot 41, commonly known as 260 North Main Street, Lambertville, New Jersey.

The public hearing is to obtain the public’s comments for the purpose of discussing the City’s proposed recreation and conservation initiatives at the Closson Property and the City of Lambertville’s application for loan or grant funds related thereto.  Interested parties are invited to attend and contribute any comments or concerns.  In the alternative, written comments may be submitted to City Clerk Cynthia L. Ege, CMR, RMC at City Hall, 18 York Street, Lambertville, New Jersey 08530 for a period of two weeks after this public hearing, through July 8, 2021.
