Lambertville Citizens Against the PennEast Pipeline

The PennEast Pipeline Committee, comprised of environmental activists, members of the Environmental Commission, Councilman Sanders and Mayor Fahl ensures that all of our efforts to fight the PennEast Pipeline are well-coordinated, effective and focused. This ill-advised project threatens our water supply, will trigger more flash flooding, and puts all the progress made in cleaning up the Delaware River at risk. For a more information, please email [email protected].

Lambertville was one of the first municipalities to pass a resolution against the proposed pipeline and we continue to take proactive steps to stop its construction.  We are an official intervener, repeatedly issuing detailed and substantive objections to the project with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.   We are proactively working with federal agencies, such as US Fish and Wildlife; state agencies; and state and federal elected officials to achieve maximum impact.  In February 2018, Lambertville passed additional resolutions to request a rehearing by FERC and make wetlands rules stricter.

The Pipeline Committee meets regularly and anyone interested in getting involved  may visit their facebook page: Lambertville, NJ CAP
