City Parking Announcement |
Pursuant to the Lambertville City Code, 2014, Section 8-20, Parking will be free in Lambertville on Thanksgiving Day and from December 17, 2020 through December 25, 2020! § 8-20 EXCEPTION FOR CERTAIN HOLIDAYS. Obtaining Construction Permits: All forms for the Construction Office can be located here under “Applications”: https://lambertvillenj.org/departments/construction-zoning Please download the required forms, complete them and send them electronically to You must also submit the original forms to the office. You can drop them at any time in the mail slot in the front door. If the plans are too large to fit in the mail slot, the entrance by the elevator is open on Tuesday and Thursday between 9 am and 4 pm and you can drop them off there. Please make sure that all the required signatures are on the forms submitted, a description of work being done and an estimated cost of work. Not having all the information may delay approvals. Plan review is conducted throughout the week however, my inspectors are only in the office once a week. We are still closed to the public, so if you wish to speak with an inspector please call the office directly at 609-397-0110 ex 23 and your message will be forwarded. You will receive a return call within 2 business days. The Technical Assistant is in the office Tuesday between 9 am and 7:30 pm and also on Thursday between 9 am and 4:30 pm. All emails and phone calls are fielded throughout the week so there is always access to the office. Lambertville Inspections: Monday and Thursday Building, Plumbing & Fire – 12pm to 3 pm Electrical – 3 pm to 5 pm Wednesday Building, Plumbing & Fire – 12 pm to 3 pm Frenchtown Inspections Monday and Thursday Building, Plumbing & Fire – 11 am to 3 pm Electrical – 3 pm to 5 pm Zoning Officer / Fire Safety Inspector The Zoning Officer is in the office on Friday and Saturday. All applications are reviewed during that time and forwarded to the Technical Assistant in the Construction Office for processing. You can submit application to City Hall in the mail slot and also send a copy via email to https://lambertvillenj.org/departments/construction-zoning All Smoke Detector Carbon Monoxide inspections are done on Friday between 1 pm and 4 pm. PUBLIC WORKS: The Street Sweeper is currently out for repair, when fixed and back on schedule, there will be an update provided. -Convenience Center will be open on the times below Please make sure the brush is cut to less than 4-foot sections. You will need to bring proof of residency with you. This includes your State of New Jersey’s Driver’s License or tax bill. CONVENIENCE CENTER HOURS: The Public Works Department will be open for residents to drop off leaves and brush as follows: November Hours: Saturday, November 7, 9 am to 12 noon Wednesday, November 18, 3 – 5 pm Saturday, November 21, 9 am to 12 noon And, a double pick up on the Garbage for November 27 (Thursday and Friday route) due to Thanksgiving! The Lambertville Library is pleased to announce its reopening on Thursday, August 27. Initially, the library will be open to the public on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10-7 pm, and on Saturdays from 10-2 pm. It will be open for porch-side pickup only Mondays and Fridays from 1-6 pm. The library will remain closed on Wednesdays and Sundays for the time being. In order to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 while welcoming the community into the building, the library has enacted the following measures to help keep patrons and staff safe: In addition to wearing masks and staying six feet apart, patrons are asked to use provided hand sanitizer upon entering for the health and safety of others while browsing. Patrons will be limited to one hour in the building per day, and a maximum of 15 patrons will be allowed in the building at one time. All returned materials will continue to be quarantined for 72 hours with no fines accruing. Magazines will be available to be checked out for home use only. Newspapers will not be available for use at this time. The library thanks the community for its patience while we readied the building for your safe return, and we look forward to serving you again! |

RECOGIDA EN CURSO / LECTURA DE VERANO La primera fase de reapertura de las bibliotecas comenzó el lunes 22 de junio y hemos visto una respuesta entusiasta.
