UPDATE: South Hunterdon High School Message
September 3, 2021, 5:00 PM
Dear SHRSD Families,
It is important that during this challenging time community members have access to support services offered by Hunterdon County. Below are links for organizations that can provide support.
- Hunterdon HelpLine http://www.helplinehc.org/ (Housing, emergency shelter, financial assistance, etc.)
- PerformCare https://www.performcarenj.org/ (support for students experiencing a mental health crisis)
- 211 https://www.nj211.org/ (Housing, food, mental health, childcare, substance abuse)
If your child needs the support of one of our school counselors in the coming days before we return back to school, please email your building Principal and we will have a counselor follow up.
Both of the food pantries in Lambertville unfortunately experienced significant flooding from the storm. The school district will be opening up a temporary food pantry in the Lambertville Public School gym from Saturday, September 4 - Tuesday, September 7 from 10 am - 6 pm. If you or someone you know needs assistance with food, please stop by and visit. If you are interested in making a food donation you can bring it to the Lambertville gym between 10 am - 6 pm Saturday - Tuesday.
Sincerely,
Anthony Suozzo
Superintendent of Schools
South Hunterdon Regional School District
