UPDATE: FEMA, Debris Removal, Donations, and more
September 7, 2021 7:00 PM
WEATHER: The City of Lambertville’s Office of Emergency Management continues to monitor the weather prediction for Wednesday evening into Thursday, September 9, 2021. We will provide public updates as more information arrives. The city is working with the State of NJ DOT, County of Hunterdon, the Lambertville Municipal Utilities Authority and the Department of Public Works to proactively clean storm drains, dredge our debris filled water ways and to clear catch basins in anticipation of the pending storm. We are doing everything in our power to reduce further damage to our community. If you have open exterior walls/holes in your house, there may be construction tarps available at Fisherman’s Mark.
The City of Lambertville remains in a State of Emergency.
We thank Hunterdon County and the County Commissioners for all of their support as we recover from this disaster. We also thank the countless volunteers from near and far who have rallied to help our community. Hundreds of volunteers have been active since immediately after the storm, gathering and distributing supplies, cleaning out basements, and coordinating resources. The generosity and compassion shown by all of these volunteers is truly inspiring and we would not be where we are today without them.
